Public Speaking & Training
Andrea is an experienced and engaging public speaker, having delivered talks and training sessions on disability and inclusion for a wide range of organisations and events. She’s been a frequent guest on national TV and radio, across the UK and Ireland, both as a performer and interviewee.
Andrea is currently the chair of the RNIB (Royal National Institute of Blind People) network committee in Northern Ireland. She is passionate about raising awareness of disability issues and in particular the issues faced by blind and partially sighted people from accessing information to education, employment and services.
Since winning The Voice UK, she has used her platform to reach a wider audience with her message. In 2014, she was voted into the Power 100 list of most influential public figures with a disability in the UK.
An eloquent and entertaining speaker, she lends her voice to many disability awareness campaigns, speaking at conferences and events to challenge perceptions of people with disabilities. She has also delivered training on visual awareness in the workplace, helping employers better understand how to make their organisations more inclusive.
